You won’t look at these drinks the same again.

Many may think sugary drinks do not effect their diet but experts are suggesting that these four drinks are some of the leading causes of weight gain, slower metabolisms, and decreased energy.

The most recommended sugary drink to take out of your diet is soda. A single can of Coca-Cola contains 39 grams of sugar, which is the complete daily recommended amount of sugar intake.

That means if you have any amount of sugar with the can of coke you will be exceeding the recommended daily limit of sugar intake. Energy drinks are also a major issue when it comes to improving your diet. Not only do energy drinks have an average of 27 grams of sugar, they also contain a surplus amount of caffeine which combined with the high amount of sugar affect your health in a negative way. Some energy drinks have also been found to give consumers high blood pressure and irregular heartbeats.

Most people think bottled iced tea would be healthier than most other drinks, but they are just as bad, if not worse, than soda. Bottled iced tea contains an average of 42 grams of sugar which immediately exceeds the recommended daily sugar intake.

Lastly, Pre-made coffee drinks are one of the main causes for weight gain because of the high amount of sugar and fat. A bottled Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino contains 31 grams of sugar and 27 calories from fat which lead to a very powerful combination that negatively impacts your health.
