Footage of the car crash on December 13 shows the sports star talking to shaken-up motorists and keeping them company until emergency services arrived.
Wearing a pink tracksuit, the clip shows him calmly walking across the road in California before giving people a hug.
The bystander who shot the footage can be heard saying: “That’s Kobe Bryant in the pink over the top of that silver car,
“That’s his Range with the blinkers on.”
Debris from the smash can be seen scattered across the road as people got out of their cars in the thick fog.
