Along with being high in fiber, full of antioxidants and more; new research proves the eating two apples a day will lower your cholesterol and prevent heart attacks and strokes.
In a recent experiment, 40 people with high cholesterol were asked to eat two apples a day for eight weeks. After their eight weeks was up many participants decreased their bad cholesterol levels by up to 4%.
The study, published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition also found that women benefit more than men from eating two apples per day. So next time you go to the grocery store, make sure you load up on apples!
