Most restaurants measure success by sales and growth. One Kentucky restaurant is measuring success by the lives it helps change.

Just one year after opening its doors, Noah’s Kitchen, located near Louisville in Brownsboro Crossing, has surpassed an impressive milestone—more than $100,000 donated to charities, nonprofits, and community organizations.

What makes the restaurant stand out is its unique mission. Rather than keeping profits, Noah’s Kitchen directs 100% of its earnings toward charitable causes, turning every meal purchased into an opportunity to support people in need.

Founded by local business owner Adam Ursprung, the restaurant was created with a purpose that goes beyond serving food. After years of operating a nearby Steak ‘n Shake franchise, Ursprung felt inspired to use business as a way to make a larger impact in the community.

Since opening, Noah’s Kitchen has proven that a restaurant can successfully combine great food with meaningful giving. Customers who stop in for the restaurant’s popular comfort-food-inspired menu are also helping fund important programs and services throughout the region.

Among the organizations benefiting from the restaurant’s generosity are Hope Rescued, which received nearly $45,000 in donations, Camberwell Grief Sanctuary, The Prisoner’s Hope, and Sunrise Children’s Services. Numerous other nonprofits have also received support ranging from $1,000 to $4,000.

The concept is simple but powerful. After covering operating expenses such as payroll, rent, and other business costs, every remaining dollar is donated to charitable organizations.

For Ursprung, the project has delivered rewards that go far beyond financial success. He says focusing on helping others has brought a level of fulfillment and purpose he never expected.

As Noah’s Kitchen approaches its first anniversary on June 18, the team is preparing to celebrate alongside the customers and organizations that helped make the mission possible.

The restaurant’s early success has also demonstrated that purpose-driven businesses can thrive. What began as an ambitious vision has grown into a model that continues to attract community support while making a tangible difference.

With more than $100,000 already distributed to worthy causes in just twelve months, Noah’s Kitchen is proving that everyday business can become a powerful force for good. And if the first year is any indication, its impact may only be getting started.
